From 2 to 4 July 2026, the University of Messina hosted the International Conference on Precision Medicine and the final STRIKE Scientific Meeting, bringing together researchers and clinicians from across Europe to discuss advances in precision medicine, translational research, and innovative therapeutic approaches.

Among the invited speakers was Prof. Magdalena Król, Director of the Centre for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), who delivered the lecture:

“Turning Macrophages into Therapeutic Effectors: Immune Reprogramming via the Macrophage Drug Conjugate Platform.”

Her presentation focused on innovative strategies for reprogramming macrophages into therapeutic effectors for targeted cancer treatment, highlighting recent advances in immune-based precision medicine.

The conference offered an excellent platform for exchanging scientific knowledge, establishing new collaborations, and discussing future directions in translational oncology and immunotherapy.

Prof. Król’s participation reflects the Warsaw University of Life Sciences’ continued commitment to high-impact international research and active engagement in collaborative scientific initiatives across Europe.
