A project led by Cellis Sp. z o.o., with the involvement of Prof. Magdalena Król (Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW), has been awarded funding under the FENG 2021–2027 programme (SMART Path, NCBR).

The project, “Bispecific cellular immunotherapy – a new approach to glioblastoma treatment”, received a recommended grant of PLN 35.7 million.

The research focuses on developing a novel bispecific cellular immunotherapy targeting glioblastoma, addressing a major unmet medical need in oncology. The work builds on advanced concepts in tumor immunology and cellular engineering, areas in which Prof. Król has extensive expertise.

This recognition highlights both the scientific excellence of the project and the strong contribution of Polish research institutions to the development of innovative cancer therapies.
